The Salads-in-a-Jar are the ultimate good-for-you fast food. Throughout the year the kitchen grows some of the ingredients. We also seasonally source from Mari's Farm and other local growers first, then certified organic from very reputable wholesale companies out of Portland and Dufur, Oregon. We cook our Garbanzo Beans in house with well water and high quality mineral sea salt. Use as an instant salad with your favorite dressing. Add it to a salad with more greens. Simmer in your favorite broth like chicken or vegetable for a warm soup. You could even ferment it in the jar with a homemade 2% brine if you understand the value and deliciousness of probiotics.
